2017 Steelhead Booking now!

2017 steelhead season is underway. O.P. steelhead dates are starting to book up!

Queets River Steelhead on the Olympic Peninsula

Fishing has been great so far. Our top Rivers for hatchery steelhead have been the Humptulips, Bogachiel and Queets and wild fish are starting to show now in all the rivers. The early wild bucks can be some of the biggest. If your interested in getting over there let me know now.

Our other Guide Johnathan will be out there with me running trips and helping with bigger groups too. If you put your own group together we give ya a discount.

Our full day Peninsula Steelhead schools are $169 pp. Booking March 11th (3 spots have availability). Up to 3 people per guide. We go over equipment, spey casting, reading water, presentation and fish!

Open seats and guys looking for partners to split guide trips: March 2nd, 3rd and 24th. If those dates don't work shoot me some dates and I'll hook you up. I try to fish the best river available but we will have a park permit to fish the Queets river, if you haven't ever fished the Queets it's got great fly water, less pressure and good fishing when in shape. Also I do a $50 discount per day for multiple full days booked, mention "winter special". Contact Mike 425-330-9506 or Streamsideflyshop@yahoo.com

The Skagit and Sauk fishes pretty good mid-Late January for Wild Steelhead before it closes. They have had great numbers of fish there the last couple years. After years of good returns things are finally in the works to have a spring season on the Skagit in 2018, stay tuned.

The Skykomish is getting a few Hatchery Steelhead now, they have lower numbers so no fishing next to the hatchery's so they can collect eggs. Unfortunately the Skykomish wild fish still doesn't have the numbers.

We already have guys booking the prime dates for Puget Sound Pink salmon 2017. Mid August - September is the time. Dates will book up early. We will also be doing some 6 hr beach fishing For $150pp

We are also doing a 2 day pink salmon campout on the river. 2 full day's fishing, camping and bbq on the river included. Contact for details $549 pp
