Salmon fishing is making way for steelheading. There will still be some B run salmon for a little while but we have turned most of our focus to steel.
Locally we will be fishing hatchery steelhead on the Skykomish and Bull trout on the Skagit.

The Skagit fishes pretty good mid-Late January for Wild Steelhead before it closes. I have a guy looking for a partner for Jan 23rd/24th or 26th/27th. Things are in the works to have a spring season on the Skagit in 2018, stay tuned. They have had great numbers of fish there the last couple years and January can be a sleeper.
The Skykomish is getting Hatchery Steel now. We are doing full day floats and half day walk-ins! Unfortunately the Skykomish wild fish still doesn't have the numbers.
O.P. steelhead dates are starting to book up. If your interested in getting over there let me know now. I have a line on cheap lodging. Our other Guide Johnathan will be out there with me running trips and helping with bigger groups too. If you put your own group together we give ya a discount. Our Peninsula schools are $169 pp. Booking Feb 11th and March 18th. Up to 3 people per guide. We go over equipment, reading water, presentation and fish!
I do have guys every year looking for partners to split trips, if interested shoot me some dates and I'll hook you up. I'll start fishing in mid Jan - April. I try to fish the best river available but I will have a park permit to fish the Queets river, if you haven't ever fished that it's got great fly water, less pressure and good fishing when in shape. Also I do a $50 discount per day for multiple days booked.
We already have guys booking the prime dates for Puget Sound Pink salmon 2017. We will also be doing some 6 hr beach fishing For $150pp
Anyways, Hope all is good and have a happy holidays either way!
Let me know if you want to get out on the water!
