of salmon, trout & char species that inhabit the river system.

tour while you float & learn about the life cycle of these fish,

Experience a fisheries biologist view of the life cycle of the
great salmon, steelhead, trout & char of the Skagit River.
Come learn the migration & history of the Salmon life cycle, from
a professional biological staff, as you float and examine the
great fish of the Skagit River system.
Uplands & Wetlands:
Study the river ecology, fauna and flora along the Skagit River.
Float the river and explore the forest floor with a Professional
Wetland Biologist and staff.
Bald
Eagles Year round:
The bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus), our national bird,
is the only eagle unique to North America. Only a few years
ago, it was almost rare to see the Bald Eagles except during
the wintering times. Now that our majestic bird is nesting along
the Skagit corridor, it is almost uncommon not see our national
bird each day throughout the year!
About
Your River Expedition:
Each
river float is approximately a 4 hour tour. Whether you come to learn
about the fish, plants, wildlife, or simply enjoy a beautiful river
float, a friendly tour down this river has something for all who appreciate
the great outdoors. Bring Your Camera! If you set up your own
group we can do those on any available date.
