The Sauk River. Spoken in reverent tone around the fly fishing community, the Sauk is a brawly mountain stream which flows northerly from the Glacier Peak Mountains. The steelhead are characteristic of such a stream. Large strong fish, more exemplified of north British Columbia waters. Challenging pools and aggressive native steelhead keep anglers coming back year after year. Sauk river steelhead, the epitome of the Pacific northwest steelhead flyfishing.
